When you place an order online, a question naturally comes up: how can you find out where your parcel is and be certain that your order has been properly handed over to the carrier?
At SENHO, every order follows a fully traceable chain, from validation on our website to delivery at your address. Several computer systems communicate automatically with one another to minimize transmission errors and ensure accurate tracking of your order.
1. A unique order from the moment it is validated on Shopify
When you place an order on a SENHO website, it is first recorded and secured by Shopify. Each new order automatically receives a unique number in the format SENHO-XXXX, where the four digits precisely identify your order in our system. The information needed to process your order is protected and used only for its preparation, shipment, and delivery. Your order therefore exists from the moment it is validated under a unique, traceable digital identity.
2. Automatic transmission to our Amblainville warehouse
Once the order has been validated, the information needed for its shipment is automatically transmitted to our logistics warehouse in Amblainville, in the Oise department. There is therefore no need to manually re-enter your order or address at each stage. This automation is essential: it considerably reduces the risk of errors that could occur when information is transmitted manually.
The chain therefore begins simply: Shopify → SENHO Warehouse.
3. HUBBLE assigns a new logistics identity to the parcel
At the warehouse, orders are processed individually using the HUBBLE logistics system. When preparing your shipment, HUBBLE assigns it a unique 13-digit logistics tracking number. This number is deliberately different from your SENHO order number.
Why? Because the number used for logistics and transportation does not need to reveal the commercial reference of your order. The different systems can therefore identify your shipment while keeping commercial and logistics information separate.
Your order now has two distinct identifiers: SENHO-XXXX to identify your order with SENHO, and a unique 13-digit HUBBLE logistics number to track its processing and shipment.
4. The carrier is selected according to your order
Obviously, not all furniture is transported in the same way. A small parcel, a mattress, a table, or a loft bed do not have the same weight, dimensions, or delivery requirements.
The system therefore selects the appropriate transport method based in particular on the order's weight, dimensions, product type, delivery address, and the required delivery service.
Depending on the circumstances, your order may therefore be entrusted to GLS, DHL, or another SENHO partner carrier. The chain then becomes: Shopify → HUBBLE → Carrier.
5. Why might you sometimes see several tracking numbers?
This is perfectly normal. Your order starts with its SENHO-XXXX number. HUBBLE then assigns it its logistics identifier. Finally, some carriers generate their own parcel or tracking number when they integrate the shipment into their network. A single order can therefore successively have several references.
This does not mean that the parcel has changed or that there are several orders. These different numbers simply allow each computer system to identify the same shipment within its own environment.
6. End-to-end traceability
The benefit of this organization is simple: we can track the progress of your order from SENHO to the carrier responsible for final delivery. The information flows automatically between the different systems:
Your order SENHO → Shopify → HUBBLE / Amblainville warehouse → Carrier's computer system → Delivery to your address.
At each stage, the shipment retains a reference that links it to the previous stage. Even when a carrier creates its own tracking number, we can link it to the initial shipment.
7. Fewer manual entries, fewer risks of errors
This automation provides another important advantage. The more information has to be copied manually, the greater the risk of error: incorrect reference, incomplete address, incorrect parcel number, or information sent to the wrong contact. At SENHO, we instead aim to transfer information directly from one system to another, according to the principle Shopify → HUBBLE → carrier system. The goal is to limit manual intervention and secure the transmission of the information required for your delivery as much as possible.
What if a transportation problem occurs?
Delivery remains a physical operation: a delay, sorting error, or logistics incident can unfortunately always occur. But your order does not disappear from our tracking chain. Thanks to the different references associated with the shipment, our customer service team can search its journey, identify the carrier involved, and find the information needed to take action. That is the difference between a parcel that is temporarily delayed and an order whose whereabouts have been lost.
Your order is tracked until delivery
Behind a simple “Order” button lies an entire automated logistics chain. At SENHO, we have chosen to connect the different links in this chain so that every order retains a precise identity throughout its journey.
One order. Several tracking systems. One traceable chain all the way to your delivery. Because a piece of furniture you are waiting to bring into your home should never become a parcel whose whereabouts no one knows.
